So, I've been on summer vacation for a while but have been too lazy to update my dA or do anything other than add favorites for the past several months due to college and Tumblr (the latter of which I find a lot more relaxing/fun for posting non-serious drawfaggotry). I don't plan on being as active as I was last year, or the year before that - but I suppose if I do, that'd be nice I guess.


School's been alright. That's all. Business as usual.


Cosplaying as Jace Beleren at all four days of Anime Expo. I plan on being at the Tabletop Gaming room for most of the time when I'm not at a panel or throwing money at exhibitors/artists. Let me know if you're a fellow MtG cosplayer or just want to join in a game. If we can get enough cosplayers, I would love to have a live-action gigantic cosplay game of Magic or go photo-bomb the Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplay gathering or something.


Some of you may noticed that I have changed my name, and am in the process of changing my page/journal themes. This is something I have been waiting to do for years - and I was on the verge of changing accounts because of my name until this happened. So now that I have the motivation to update my shit, I might as well update my name to the name I've been going by-ish for a long time now. Many of you knew me as Maki (Makihyu Hiashin on Gaia) or makimonstrous on tumblr - and some were confused by the lack of correlation between my deviantART name and my other internet identities; this account, of course, is one that I have been using since middle school, since the days of my Final Fantasy obsessions and weabooness, hence the name "pinkchocobo13" or the shorthand "PCHXIII".

I now give you, deviantART, the makimonstrosity of the makidrawfaggotry that is the Makimonster.
